(This is a tiny terrarium featured in an article for The New York Times titled, Terrariums Make a Comeback. Very interesting.)
Succulents seem to be the perfect plant, aside from fake plants, for the busy on-the-go type.
There are even air plants that don't need soil!..
They just float in the air!
We love West Elm's collection for indoor/outdoor gardens…

Having plants in your home is also very healthy for you! The Journal of American Society of Horticultural Science came out with 15 plants that improve the air quality in your home. They filter out VOC's (volatile organic compounds) that are in cleaning products, paint, etc. (Although we normally specify low VOC paint in our projects! Trust me, you can smell the difference.)
I thought this was pretty funny for an outdoor planting option… Hey why not create extra seating while planting outside?
Hope you enjoyed and are inspired to start improving the air quality in your home!
P.S. The Dallas Flea is this Saturday! Sounds like it will be amazing so you don't want to miss! Here's the link…
